PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT:

I am a trial lawyer. With more than fifty years of experience in complex litigation, my track record demonstrates success, reliability and cost effectiveness. I diligently work with my clients to develop the most appropriate legal strategy for their case. In my experience, the most effective manner to successfully conclude litigation is to be willing, and able, try the case in court. With an active trial schedule in state and federal courts, in my career, I have been lead counsel in more than 95 jury trials and briefed and argued more than 85 appeals. My clients include business individuals, corporations, financial institutions and insurance companies. My experience in business litigation contributes greatly to my ability to provide effective representation in complex cases. For example, I was retained as trial counsel representing a generic pharmaceutical company in patent litigation and a CEO of a publicly held company defending sophisticated SEC claims. Also, I maintain a white-collar criminal defense practice limited to representing business clients in Federal court.
